Project-Based Learning

Using project-based learning to support instructional goals is a powerful way for students to deepen understanding while also developing critical interpersonal and collaborative skills. At Sunnyside, we intentionally weave project-based learning into our academic units, allowing students to explore real-world connections, problem-solve creatively, and demonstrate their competencies in meaningful, hands-on ways. Whether students are working in teams to build models, create presentations, lead discussions, or design solutions, they are practicing essential skills such as communication, leadership, and critical thinking.
