Navigating the world of educational advocacy can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone.

Whether you're preparing for a school meeting, trying to understand the 504 or IEP process, or need a trusted advocate to walk alongside you through evaluations, referrals, or placement decisions, we’re here to help.

Our team includes experienced educators and trained advocates who are available to meet with you before, during, or after school meetings. We take the time to walk through every page, policy, and procedure—helping you understand your child’s rights, clarify your options, and feel confident in your role as their strongest advocate.

Our goal is to ensure families are informed, supported, and empowered—because every child deserves to be understood, and every family deserves to be heard.

“The best environment for neurodivergent learners. The best environment for overburdened students. The best environment for having the ability to include creativity and physical activity.”
-E.W.

“When we were referred to Peace of Mind, a little over a year ago, Kristie told me that we had found our village. I still remember our first phone call and the immediate relief and overwhelming gratitude I felt. We spoke for quite some time that evening. I was impressed by Kristie’s professionalism and experience as an educator, but what I remember most is that she listened with understanding rather than judgment and she was compassionate, genuine, caring, and eager to help. Her confidence was reassuring and she squeezed us in for our first session just days after that call, which happened to also be the week of Thanksgiving. She was right! We found our village and we are forever grateful for Kristie and the team at Peace of Mind. It truly is a special place, a community like no other! POM has been a blessing to our family!”
