Established in May 2024, the Sunnyside Academy Student Scholarship (SASS) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created to expand access to the unique, high-quality educational experience offered at Sunnyside Academy. SASS raises funds to offset tuition for students and families who are eager to learn, grow, and thrive—but for whom private tuition may not be within reach.

What sets Sunnyside Academy apart isn’t just our warm environment or student-centered approach—it’s the powerful combination of relationship-driven learning and a 4:1 student-teacher ratio that ensures every child receives truly individualized instruction.

We welcome learners across a wide range of ages and academic profiles because we know that great minds don’t think alike.

SASS exists because we believe opportunity shouldn't be dictated by income. We know that when children are given the space, support, and encouragement to show up as they are, incredible growth happens—not just for the child, but for their family, their community, and ultimately, for all of us.

Because the truth is: all of our children do better when all of our children have the chance to do better.

The Sunnyside Academy Student Scholarship Fund is proudly led by a dedicated team of community-minded professionals: President Ashley Lindler, Treasurer Caroline Milliken, and Secretary Kristin Williamson.

Together, they guide our mission to make the transformative education offered at Sunnyside Academy more accessible.

Through thoughtful fundraising and outreach, our goal is to extend opportunity—to open the door for students and families who are ready to show up and grow, but may need support to get there.

Gifts can be made anonymously or in honor of a student, graduate, teacher, or anyone who has benefited—or would have benefited—from a program like Sunnyside. Your support can truly open the door for a child to experience an individualized education rooted in connection, joy, and personalized growth. Every dollar donated goes directly toward student tuition. 100% of contributions are used to fund scholarships that help make individualized, relationship-based education a reality for more families.
