Suzy Madden is a proud special educator, educational consultant and a certified ADHD coach. Suzy developed the Special Education program at Cardinal Newman high school and currently runs the Academic Assistance program at Heathwood Hall.


Suzy is Orton Gillinham and ELBY trained and enjoys using multiple intervention methods and strategies to teach and to improve reading, written expression, executive functioning and test prep strategies. She is also an ADHD coach and is passionate about improving the outcomes of students with diagnosed learning disabilities and symptoms of ADHD.

Outside of teaching, Suzy lives with her husband Jamey and their two sons, Mac, and Emmett. She loves reading, biking and taking care of the environment.
