Services Offered At Peace of Mind

At Peace of Mind, we know every child learns differently, and we embrace that in everything we do.

Tutoring Sessions

Our one-on-one and small-group sessions are led by experienced and trained educators. We meet students where they are by building skills and confidence through personalized, thoughtful instruction that supports their current academic levels and individual learning styles.

Peace of Mind is more than a place to learn; it’s a community where students feel safe, seen and valued.   Each 60-minute session is intentionally designed to feel calm, supportive, and engaging. Peace of Mind allows students to open up, take risks, and believe in themselves, and that’s where real growth begins.

We focus on meaningful progress. Sessions may include introducing new material, reinforcing challenging concepts, building study skills, and strengthening organization and executive functioning. always with the goal of helping each student reach their full potential.

After each session, families receive written feedback so you always know how your child is doing and how we’re supporting them.

Sessions are held weekly in consistent one-hour time slots and billed electronically. We ask for 12 hours’ notice for cancellations so we can best support our teachers and offer that time to another student.

Test Prep

At Peace of Mind, test preparation is thoughtful, structured, and individualized, designed to help students perform at their highest potential. Led by experienced, certified educators, sessions incorporate targeted instruction, test-taking strategies, and regular practice testing to build familiarity, accuracy, and confidence. Students engage in intentional review and reflection, using performance data to identify strengths, address gaps, and refine their approach over time.

Our ACT and SAT preparation programs use a focused, academic approach that prioritizes skill development, strategic thinking, and measurable progress.

We offer one-on-one, small group, and course-based options to meet individual student needs, whether preparing for an initial test, improving scores, or focusing on specific content areas.

Additional offerings include EOC preparation  (Algebra and Biology), MCAT and AFOQT,  world language placement support, and AP test preparation, all led by certified experts in each domain.
