Sierra Strother, RYT-200
As a passionate and dedicated yoga teacher, I am committed to guiding students of all ages toward physical, mental, and spiritual well-being through the transformative practice of yoga. I graduated from Sakhi Yoga School in 2022 with my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification and am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance. Since then, I have been sharing the gifts of yoga through a variety of classes and settings, fostering connection, mindfulness, and empowerment.
My teaching journey began in the fall of 2022 with Mommy and Me classes, creating nurturing spaces for parents and their little ones to bond through movement and breath. In 2023, I expanded my experience by subbing at Rooted Yoga Studio, and by the fall of that year, I was leading my own classes. From babies to seniors, I have taught diverse groups in settings ranging from schools to studios, inside and outside. My classes are rooted in the Hatha Yoga tradition; with a slower, intentional flow, emphasizing proper alignment, mindful engagement, and the physiological benefits of yoga.
My teaching style is both explorative and empowering, with a strong focus on centering and meditation. I design sequences that invite students to connect with their bodies and breath, fostering a sense of inner peace and strength. With a personalized approach, I strive to meet each student where they are, creating an inclusive and supportive environment. For me, yoga is more than a physical practice—it is a spiritual journey that nurtures all aspects of our lives, guiding us toward balance, self-discovery, and resilience.
Whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, I invite you to join me on the mat to explore the transformative power of this timeless practice.
