Mary Kathryn is a 4th year medical student at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. She will earn her medical doctorate degree in December 2025. She previously obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Wofford College in 2020. While in college, she volunteered as a tutor in math and reading for elementary age children and was a tutor and TA for introductory biology.

Mary Kathryn is passionate in teaching science and math and would also love to help more students achieve their dream of pursuing medicine. While she is not studying for her own medical school exams or helping teach others, Mary Kathryn loves kayaking on the Saluda River, baking sweets, and curling up with a good book.
