Katherine is a retired educator with 30 years of teaching experience in public schools. She is certified in Elementary Education, Middle Level Mathematics, Middle Level Science, and Middle Level Social Studies. She holds a Master's Degree in Education Administration. She believes children learn best from people whom they trust and have a connection with.

Katherine is married and has two grown children. She enjoys playing board games, card games, puzzles and being with family, especially when they are cheering on the Clemson Tigers!
