Charlie boy is the most precious, lovable of the three dogs. He may not have the same emotional radar as Annie… but what he lacks in intuition, he more than makes up for in charm. With his good looks and goofy grin, he’s the kind of handsome that turns heads and occasionally steals snacks.

Huckleberry Finn—better known as Huck—is the latest (and last!) addition to our doodle crew. As the baby brother to Charlie and Annie, Huck has been part of the Peace of Mind family since he was just 8 weeks old, lovingly raised by our staff and students.

At not even a year old, Huck is still figuring things out. He’s afraid of just about everything and barks to let us know it. If there's a loud noise or a storm, this scared little baby jumps into your lap for snuggles. He loves to listen to children read and sing and is playful, sensitive, and just a little bit clumsy… kind of like the pup in the story, "Biscuit goes to School".

With good intentions, wiggly distractions, and a heart full of love, Huck is learning what it means to be a school dog. He reminds us that growth takes time, patience matters, and sometimes the best progress comes with muddy paws and a chew toy.

We adore him—and even when he’s hiding behind a chair or running off with someone’s sock, we’re grateful he’s part of our pack.
