Avery Isgett has four years of experience teaching Biology and Anatomy and Physiology. She began her teaching career at Dreher High School in 2022 after completing her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Columbia College and her Masters in Secondary Science Teaching at the University of South Carolina. It was during her time working as a math and science tutor at Columba College when she first fell in love with the teaching profession.

Along with teaching a wide range of life science topics, Avery has extensive experience with helping her students prepare for the South Carolina Biology End-of-Course Exam. She is excited to be able to share her tips and tricks with the kids at Peace of Mind!

Outside of the classroom, Avery enjoys cozy nights indoors with a good book or a painting session. However, her love for the natural world occasionally leads her outdoors for a long walk or a hike with friends.
