¡Hola! My name is Nicole Mesimer and I am a passionate Spanish educator of nine years and a proud graduate of the University of South Carolina and Auburn University.
I currently serve as Richland One’s Lead Teacher for Secondary World Languages and work alongside amazing educators empowering students on their way to linguistic proficiency. I have taught all levels of Spanish starting from elementary all the way to collegiate level Spanish.
In Spring of 2023, I was named Dreher High School’s Teacher of the Year. I then represented Dreher at the district level as a finalist for Richland One’s District Teacher of the Year. More importantly, I am an avid traveler and take every opportunity I can to embark on new adventures.
My proudest moments as a teacher stem from the student trips that I have led and the moments of watching students use their Spanish in a real-life context and make a meaningful connection.
I am so thankful to be a part of the Peace of Mind community working to empower every learner on their path to proficiency.
